LATVA, Arlene Anita - age 91, of Flint, formerly of Dearborn, died Wednesday, December 29, 2010. Funeral mass will be celebrated 1:30 PM Monday, January 3, 2011 at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, 310 N. Cherry St., Flushing with Fr. Roy Horning celebrant. Interment will be held at Roseland Park Cemetery in Berkley, MI. Visitation will be held 4-8 Sunday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek where a rosary will be prayed 7:30 PM Sunday evening. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Woodhaven Senior Community Chapel Fund. Mrs. Latva was born October 9, 1919 in Hubbell, MI, the daughter of Louis and Josephine (Consani) Salsini. She married Arthur Edward Latva and he preceded her in death on September 28, 1976. Surviving are: three sons, John Latva and wife, Camille of Greenville, MI, Paul Latva and wife, Deena of Flushing, Mark Latva of Manistique, MI; six grandchildren, Andrea, Naomi, Cherie, Joe, Rosa and David; 11 great-grandchildren and two on the way; sister, Dora Lavorini of Iron Mountain; two brothers, Paul Salsini and wife, Barbara of WI, Louis Salsini and wife, Ann of Hubbell.
