Arlene Bell Heidel

HEIDEL, Arlene Bell, age 83 of Swartz Creek, passed: August 9, 2024. A memorial service will be held at 12:00 PM Saturday, September 7, 2024 at The Salvation Army Flint Citadel located at 211 W. Kearsley St., Flint, Michigan. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM Saturday at the Salvation Army until the time of service. Memorial contribution in memory of Arlene may be made to the Salvation Army Flint Citadel Songsters.  Arlene graduated high school from Flint Tech in 1958. She was employed at and retired from General Motors as a secretary. She married her husband, Hank on October 16, 1982 in Flint. She attended The Salvation Army Church in Flint her entire life and was a member of the Songsters (choir) for over 60 years. Arlene enjoyed church, travel, and living life with her husband, Hank. She is survived by her husband: Henry, Step Daughter LeeAnn (David) Thal, Nephew David (Jayne) Bell, Niece Ruth Gibbons, Nephew Jon Bell, Great nephews, Eric (Lisa) Bell, Andrew (Beth) Bell, and Dan (Lisa) Bell, and Christopher (Heather) Bell. She will also be missed by many nephews, nieces, and step grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Cecil Bell; Mother, Matilda Bell; Brother, Walt Bell, and step daughter Mary Smith.
