Arla Fuller

FULLER, Arla Carolyn - age 84, of Fenton, died March 20, 2022. A memorial service will be held 4 PM Friday, March 25, 2022 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W. Silver Lake Rd., Fenton, MI 48430. The family will receive friends from 1 PM - 4 PM Friday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Arla was born October 15, 1937 in Brooklyn, NY, the daughter of Guy Herbert and Vivian Gladys (Hitt) Dick. She was a graduate of Lakewood High School in Lakewood, OH. Arla retired as an Administrative Assistant from the Muscular Dystrophy Association of Cleveland and was previously employed for several years at Ohio Carrier Tariff Services. Arla was a pioneer in the age of single motherhood,with little help, she raised 3 boys into successful lives of their own. Arla served her Lord as a member of Trinity Lutheran in Lakewood Oh. and enjoyed singing in church choir. Arla was an avid reader, always with book in hand, whom enjoyed an occasional outing to a play or musical. Her quick wit and wisdom will be missed by many.  Surviving are: three sons, Robert Scott Fuller and husband, Peter Small of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Jeffrey George Fuller and wife, Robin of Fenton, and Bradley Guy Fuller and wife, Stacey of Powder Springs, GA; five grandchildren, Timothy Robert (Samantha) Fuller, Alyse Elizabeth (Delbert) Storer, Olivia Kay Fuller, Samuel Richard Fuller and Matthew Robert Fuller; four great-grandchildren, Theodora Fuller, David Fuller, Ethan Storer, and Mason Storer; brother, Guy Richards.
