Ardis Howey

HOWEY, Ardis Arlene (Dewey) - Age 92, of Swartz Creek, passed away Monday, May 3, 2021. Private interment will take place at Flint Memorial Park, Mt. Morris.

Ardis was born on April 27, 1929 in Flint the daughter of Gordon and Thelma (Mason) Dewey. She graduated from Flint Northern High School. Ardis worked in parts and sales for GM for 31 years before her retirement in 1980. She and Olla "Mike" Howey were united in marriage on October 28, 1968 in Flint. Ardis was a member of the Swartz Creek United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her 4 daughters, Shelley (Roy) Collett, Sandra Branoff, Tamie (Steve) Malaska and Jacqueline (Jay) Dynia; step-daughter, Terri Hosner; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren: sister, Patricia Cross; and  nieces and nephews.

Ardis was preceded in death by her parents, Gordon and Thelma Dewey; husband, Mike Howey; son, Jimmy Jozwiak; step-son, Kenneth Howey; 2 sisters, Alethea Biondo and Jean Gillmore.
