PAGELS, Ardath Ilene - Age 67, of Howell, died Friday, February 26, 2010 at Crestmont HealthCare Center. Funeral services will be held 7:00 PM Monday, March 1, 2010 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton, with Pastor Bob Guilford officiating. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Monday from 4:00 PM until time of service. Those desiring may make contributions to the American Cancer Society. Mrs. Pagels was born April 13, 1942 in Norfolk, NE, the daughter of Malvern Leroy and Irene Antonia (Lehmann) Smith. She had worked at Meijer's in Howell for the past 8 years. Surviving are: daughter, Candy and husband Kermit Lowery of Howell; grandson, Eric Lowery of Howell; brother, Gary and wife Dorothy Smith of Grand Island, NE; sister, Beverly Holtz of Lewisville, TX; sister-in-law, Ardie Smith of West Point, NE; stepfather, Leeland Kind of Beemer, NE; several nieces and nephews.
