Aquilla Hart

HART, Aquilla Carlene - Age 84, of Fenton, formerly of Lompoc, CA, passed away January 19, 2023. No services will be held. Those desiring may make contributions in her memory to the American Cancer Society. Aquilla was born March 25, 1938 in Clovis, NM, the daughter of Maynard and Ouida (Beller) Hupp. Aquilla resided in Lompoc, California most of her life, just recently moving to Fenton to be near family. Aquilla was an amazing tole painter and appreciated all sorts of arts and crafts.  She loved to crochet, bake, and was an excellent homemaker. Her beautiful rose and flower garden was the envy of the neighborhood.  She enjoyed a good conversation with friends and family especially her neighbors, Kathy and John Zamora.  She was the most loving mother and doting grandmother. She is survived by her daughters, Erin (Brian) Hawkins of Bakersfield, California and Dani (Tom) Andersen of Fenton, Michigan; grandchildren, Jillian and Lauren Hawkins, Emily and Thomas Andersen; brothers, Lester (Linda) Hupp and Leonard (Kristine) Hupp. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband of 46 years, Don C.
