MAINI, Anthony Vincenzo - age 64, of Fenton, died Saturday, May 20, 2006 at his residence. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Tuesday, May 23, 2006 at Hope Lutheran Church, 7335 W. Silver Lake Rd., Linden with Rev. Lawrence Eckart officiating. Interment will follow at Great Lakes National Cemetery where military honors will be performed under the auspices of Fenton VFW Curtis Wolverton Post #3243. Visitation will be held from 6-8 PM Monday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to Hope Lutheran Church. Anthony was born August 8, 1941 in Detroit, the son of Pietro and Florence (Verrua) Maini. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force serving in Ft. Worth, TX. Anthony married Donna Bredow on October 9, 1976 in Holly. He was employed by Delta Airlines for a short time after his discharge from the Air Force. Anthony retired from UPS after 33 years of service where he was a driver and Union Steward for many years. He was a member of the Teamsters, the Fenton American Legion and was an avid fisherman and enjoyed building model boats. Surviving are: wife, Donna of Fenton; three children, Connie Bowman of Melvindale, Allison and husband, Michael Benning of AZ, Nicholas Maini and wife, Alita of Fenton; three grandchildren, Nicole, Hannah and Anthony Vincenzo.
