GIACALONE, Anthony - age 78, of Burton, died Sunday, November 29, 2020. Tony was born October 24, 1942 in Flint, the son of James and Dorothy (Cicalo) Giacalone. He was a well known entrepreneur in the Flint area. Tony was proud of the many businesses he built, owned and operated through the years including Davison Auto Auction, Genesee Auto Salvage. He built Scooters Bar and Grill where he started the tradition of "bike night". Tony's most recent endeavor was building and selling scooters with his great friend Mikey. Tony loved his family, riding Harley Davison motorcycles with his boys, hunting, good food and cheap wine. Surviving are: two daughters, Angela (Don) Blank of Linden, Jill Jarvis (Jeremy Turpen) of Auburn Hills; grandchildren, Savannah Duplanty, Dallas Blank, Emma Duplanty, Dawson Blank, Annabella Blank, and Lilia Jarvis; great-granddaughter, Gianna; favorite ex-wife, Lee Giacalone; siblings, Phillip Giacalone, Maria Pearce, and Chris Giacalone; several very special nieces and nephews; very special friends and partners in crime, too numerous to mention. He was preceded in death by: his parents, brother, Joe Giacalone; brother-in-law, Ricky Pearce; and nephew, Tony. The family is extremely grateful to the wonderful staff of Ascension Genesys Hospital who were there for him when the family could not be there because of Covid-19.
