Annette Hungerford

HUNGERFORD, Annette Irene (Burns) - Age 79, of Holly, died Tuesday September 29, 2020. Funeral services will be held 11:30AM Friday, October 2nd at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Pastor Rich Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, Fenton. Visitation will be held 2PM-4PM and 6PM-8PM Thursday and 10:30AM Friday until time of service. Those desiring may make contributions to Heritage Baptist Church of Fenton. Annette was born August 12, 1941 in Southfield, Michigan, the daughter of Russell and Edna (Ferguson) Burns. She married Garner L. Hungerford in Fenton on August 1, 1959. Annette loved spending time with family. She was a foster mother for over 40 children and raised 4 children of her own. Mrs. Hungerford was a member of Heritage Baptist Church of Fenton. Surviving are: husband of 61 years, Garner L. Hungerford of Holly; children, Ronda (Richard) Woods of Swartz Creek, Greg (Julie) Hungerford of Fenton, Becky (Robert) Trest of Holly and Chad Hungerford of Birch Run. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and sister, Roberta Roe of Chicago, IL. Annette was preceded in death by her parents Russell and Edna (Ferguson) Burns.
