Anne L. Whitney

WHITNEY, Anne L., age 73 of Grand Blanc, Twp. died Sunday, January 28, 2007 at Genesys Health Park.  Mrs. Whitney was born on October 18, 1933 the daughter of Arnold and Caroline (Dunston) Bush in Battle Creek, she then moved to the U.P. and resided there for 45 years.  She has resided in the Grand Blanc area the past two years, coming here from Skandia, Michigan.  Mrs. Whitney was a homemaker that loved the company of her family.  She enjoyed crocheting afgans and making hand made quilts. She was also an avid bingo player.  Surviving are her four children; Grace Molaski and husband Jim, Alberta Redick and husband Duane, Gerald Whitney and John Whitney.  Also surviving are 12 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, a sister Linda Craddock and a brother Samuel Bush along with many nieces and nephews.  Mrs. Whitney was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Whitney in 1989; parents; 4 brothers and 2 sisters. Private family services were held today and burial of cremated remains will take place on May 2, 2007 at the West Branch Cemetery in Skandia, Michigan.
