MORTON, Anne Elizabeth - Age 88, of Fenton, passed away April 4, 2024. Funeral services will be held 11AM Saturday, April 13, 2024 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be held 5-8 PM Friday and from 10AM until the time of service Saturday. Those desiring may make contributions Linden Historical Society, Linden United Methodist Church or Alzheimer's Association. Anne was born April 3, 1936 in Flint, the daughter of the late James and Helen (Stone) Orr. She married Thomas Morton on January 10, 1959 in Linden. Anne was a member of the Linden Historical Society, Linden United Methodist Church, Linden Beautification Committee, Daughters of the Union and Linden Band Boosters. She was an amazing cook, talented seamstress, loved to garden and play the piano. She also enjoyed camping and traveling. She worked many years for Atlas Investments. Anne is survived by her children, Barbara (Gregory) Stafford, Michael Morton and John (Tricia) Morton; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas; brother, Robert Orr and step-brother, Marvin Engen. Tributes may be shared at www.sharpfuneralhomes.com
