Anne Marie Markle

MARKLE, Anne Marie - Age 89, of Holly, passed away August 19, 2023. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11AM Wednesday, August 23, 2023 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St., Fenton. Fr. Robert Copeland Celebrant. Visitation will be held 3-8 PM Tuesday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton, with a Rosary at 7PM.  Visitation will also be held from 10AM until the time of Mass Wednesday at the church. Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery in St. Clair. Those desiring may make a donation to a local church of one's choice. Anne was born November 19, 1933 in Detroit, the daughter of Eugene and Catherine (Johnson) Delaney. Anne retired from Troy Schools with 23 years of service. She will be remembered for her adventurous spirit. She is survived by her children, Robert (Jackie) Markle, Cheryl Polcyn (Tom), Susan Markle;  grandchildren, Patty, Tony, Jillian, Frank, David, Michelle, Michael and Becky; many great-grandchildren; brother, Joseph (Mona) Delaney; many loving nieces and nephews.
