LIEDEL, Anne Michele, (Schober) - age 47, of Fenton, passed quietly in her sleep at home Friday, August 25, 2006 after her battle with cancer which began in April of 2005. A memorial service will be held 4PM Tuesday, August 29, 2006 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd. Fenton. Rev. Fr. David Harvey officiating. The family will receive friends 1PM Tuesday until the time of service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. Anne was born January 27, 1959 in Flint, the daughter of Dale and Winnie (Saum) Schober. She attended St. John Elementary in Fenton, Fenton Middle School, and was a 1977 graduate of Fenton High School. She graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a Bachelors of Science, Food Sciences and earned her Masters Degree in Vocational Education from Ferris State University. Anne married Michael Liedel on February 28, 1987 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Fenton. She was employed for 18 years with the Flint Public Schools System working for the Genesee Area Skill Center and Weekdays Restaurant and Conference Center where she impacted many student's lives. Anne will be remembered for her love of baking, especially at Christmas, and her passion and hunt for antiques. She loved the holidays and and created endearing themed celebrations with her family. Â Surviving are her husband, Mike of Fenton; father, Dale Schober of Curtis, MI; brother, Dale Schober (Julie) of Virginia; 2 sisters, Lisa Reiser of Chicago, Mary Foley (Paul) of Fenton; nieces Ashley, Erin, Lauren, Mary; nephews, Anthony, Jon, Scott; father-in-law, George Liedel.
