Anne E. HRESKO

HRESKO, Anne E. - age 92, of Flint, died peacefully at her home surrounded by family on Monday, May 3, 2010. Funeral mass will be celebrated 11 AM Saturday, May 8, 2010 at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 3139 Hogarth Ave., Flint with Rev. Fr. Robert Copeland celebrant. Interment will follow at New Calvary Catholic Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 AM until the time of service at the church. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the American Red Cross or Catholic Charities of Genesee County. Mrs. Hresko was born June 8, 1917 in Mt. Morris, the daughter of Stephen and Julia (Deri) Szecsodi. She married Michael Hresko on July 15, 1939 and he preceded her in death on June 9, 1981. She worked at the American Red Cross then at Select Employment Agency for 25 years. Surviving are: four children, Nancy Kirby of Flint, Thomas Michael Hresko of San Francisco, Judy (Bill) Stelling of Chapel Hill, NC, Dr. Tim Hresko (Dr. Ellen Gravallese) of Brookline, MA; nine grandchildren, Dr. Ryan (Dr. Jessica) Kirby, Erin (Peter) Savarino, Megan Kirby, Kevin Kirby, Michael (Courtney) Stelling, Betsy and Amy Stelling, Andrew and Gregory Hresko; two great-grandchildren, Michael and Sophia Savarino.
