Annalea Bannister

Bannister, Annalea Harriet - Age 93, of Flint, died July 11, 2018. Funeral services will be held 12PM Saturday August 25 at Christ the King Catholic Church 1811 Seymour Ave. Flint. Visitation will be held 11:30AM until the time of service. In lieu of flowers those desiring may make contributions to Christ The King Catholic Church building fund. Annalea was born November 15, 1924 the daughter of Earl and Amelia (Houseman) Raymond. She married Howard Dale Bannister Sr. on November 24, 1944. Annalea worked for Genesee County and the State of Michigan for 40 years. She first worked for the Genesee County Clerk and then ran the Veterans Trust Fund and Jury Commission. Annalea was a member of Christ the King Church. She was an avid shopper. Annalea enjoyed her family and friends. She is survived by her 3 children, Marcia Allen of Fort Walton Beach FL., Howard Dale (Ruth) Bannister Jr. of Concord, MI., Shelly Bannister of Flint; 6 grandchildren, Leta McFerrin, Tyesha Bannister, Shevera Smith, Corey Allen, Amelia Drummond, Natalie Bannister; 8 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren.
