WHITE, Anna Ruth  age 85, of E. Lansing, formerly of Swartz Creek, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Thursday, June 16, 2005 at Burcham Hills Retirement Center, E. Lansing. Graveside services will be held 1 PM Monday, June 20, 2005 at Sunset Hills Cemetery, Flint. The family will receive friends from 7-9 PM Saturday and Sunday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek. Mrs. White was born December 4, 1919 in Neosha, MO, the daughter of Charles Alvin and Myrtle May (Stoots) Hansford. She married Floyd J. White on December 3, 1939 in Racine, MO and he preceded her in death on January 24, 1998. Mrs. White retired in 1980 from Swartz Creek Public Schools as a cook. She was a former member of Cornerstone Baptist Church. Surviving are: son, Richard White and wife, Kris Anne of Swartz Creek; daughter, Deanna R. and husband, James D. West of East Lansing; three grandsons, Scott and Troy White, Lt. James West of Boston, MA. She was also preceded in death by: her parents; many brothers and sisters.
