Anna WHETSTONE

WHETSTONE, Anna, age 83, of Flint, passed away Tuesday, April 27, 2010. Funeral Services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 1, 2010 Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Grand Blanc Twp. Interment will be at Flint Memorial Park, Mt. Morris. Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday until time of service at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to Catholic Charities. Anna was born September 2, 1926 in Flint the daughter of Anton and Anna (Hehn) Taister. She was a graduate of Flint Northern High School and had been a life resident of Flint. Anna retired from A.C. Spark Plug after 30 years of employment. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and the Serbian Lodge. Surviving are her 3 children, Will Whetstone of Clio, Jeff Whetstone of Mt. Pleasant, Renee Shields of Flint; 4 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; 2 sisters, Katherine Castle (John) of Tawas and Elizabeth Rawley of Birch Run.
