Anna Victoria JEFFERS

JEFFERS, Anna "Ann" Victoria - age 84, of West Chester, OH, formerly of Swartz Creek, died Thursday, September 24, 2009 in Ohio. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:00 AM Tuesday, September 28, 2009 at St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Robert McKeon celebrant. Interment will follow at Bendle Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday from 1-4 and 6-8 PM at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek where a vigil service will be held at 7:00 PM and on Tuesday from 9:00 AM until time of Mass at church. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Salvation Army. Mrs. Jeffers was born November 6, 1924 in Pricedale, PA, the daughter of Frank and Mari (Janac) Kocian. She married Maurice Henry Jeffers in 1945 and he preceded her in death on June 30, 2006. Mrs. Jeffers retired from Swartz Creek Public Schools. Surviving are: son, Randy Jeffers and wife, Ann Marie of West Chester, OH; daughter-in-law, Doreen Jeffers of Swartz Creek; two granddaughters, Ashley and Shannon Jeffers; five sisters, Helen Mogan of MA, Agnes Fidnarik of PA, Delores Snyder of OH, Margaret Butera of PA, Mary Blumenstock of NJ; many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by: her parents; two brothers, Steve and Frank Kocian; sister, Rose Sednarik; son, Stanley Jeffers.
