Gibson, Anna May - Age 84, of Goodrich, died November 16, 2019. Funeral services will be held 1PM Wednesday, November 20 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center 6063 Fenton Rd. Flint. Interment to follow at Great Lakes National Cemetery 4200 N. Belford Rd. Holly. Visitation will be held 11-1PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Whaley's Children Center. Anna was born August 26, 1935 in Ann Arbor, the daughter of Glen Howard and Viola Martha (Brown) Tappy. She married Billie Gibson on January 21, 1956 in Angola, Indiana. Anna enjoyed golfing, gardening, and running. She participated in the Crim Race in Flint for 13 consecutive years. Anna retired from Buick Motor Division's, working in the accounts payable and the audits departments. She also worked for the Buick Open for many years. Anna was a member of I.B.G. Anna and Bill spent their winters in Gold Canyon, AZ. for over 20 years. She is survived by her husband; Billie of Goodrich; children: Pamela (Robert) Canter of Flint, Patrick Beck (Amy Smallidge) of Burton, Sherrie Gibson of Burton, Lee Ann (Scott) Holland of Biloxi, MS.; 3 grandchildren: Timothy, Brad Canter and Joshua (Hortense) Oros; 3 great-grandchildren: Olivia, Emily, Elizabeth Oros; brother: Joseph Tappy of Flint Township; She is preceded in death by her parents; sister-in-laws: Mary Daig, Beverlie Tappy.
