BLANZY, Anna Bernice  Age 70, of Linden, formerly of Ortonville, died Saturday, August 28, 2004 at Fenton Extended Care Center. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 AM Wednesday, September 1, 2004 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St., Fenton, Fr. David Harvey celebrant. Visitation will be held 7-9 PM Monday, 2-5 & 7-9 PM Tuesday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. A vigil service will be held 7 PM Tuesday. Mrs. Blanzy was born May 28, 1934 in Canada and was a 1951 graduate of Lake Orion High School. She married Theodore J. Blanzy in 1956. Mrs. Blanzy retired from Brandon High School, where she was secretary to the principal and superintendent. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church and  Loose Senior Center. She also volunteered at the Catholic Mission in Gladwin. Surviving are: husband Ted Sr.; children, Ted Jr. and wife Karen of Sears; Cindy and husband Patrick Glowzinski of Highland; grandchildren, Meaghan, Harmony, Bryan, Jacob, Alec and a granddaughter to be born in October; sisters, Virginia Walter of Lapeer, Roxy Davison of Canada, Chris Garrett of Dryden, Debby Jacques of Prescott; brother, Steve Bovbjerg of Colorado; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Anna; granddaughter, Melyssa Blanzy in 1991; brother, Ron Howitt.
