She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years John Henry Waggett in 2013, her sister Dorothy Jean Shaffer, her brother Paul Weilacher and her parents Barbara (Liedl) and Herman Weilacher.
She lived most recently at Lockwood of Fenton in Michigan and previously at the Mount Nittany Residences in State College, PA. She and John enjoyed living in Orange Park, Florida from 1987 through his death in 2013. Patsie and John grew up and met in the DuBois, Pennsylvania area and raised their four girls in Edinboro just south of Erie, Pennsylvania.
Patsie worked for many years in the physician office setting in Florida and managing rental properties in Pennsylvania. She was an avid antique collector with a specific focus on fine china and glassware. She ran a business of buying and reselling these specialty items. She loved to go thrift shopping for deals at Goodwill and garage sales. She held strong democratic views and was pleased to cast her vote in the recent 2020 Presidential election.
Patsie loved the Christmas season and we will celebrate her at this time each year. She would begin with the Christmas tree going up the Saturday after Thanksgiving followed by outdoor and then indoor lights. She and John would host many gatherings for the holidays with special linens and tableware set for their guests. She loved the spirited Christmas music of Mannheim Steamroller playing in the background.
Patsie and John in their younger days loved motorcycle trips with friends and in their later years enjoyed camping with their RV. They were involved over their lives in many community service organizations including the Edinboro Pennsylvania chapter of Lions Club International. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation in their memory to Lions Club International - Empowering Service Fund at lionsclub.org/en/donate.
