Ann Turner Podlesak

Podlesak, Ann Turner - of Fenton passed away peacefully on Friday November 10th, 2023 at age 57. She was born March 6th, 1966 in Flint, Michigan, the daughter of Susan Yeotis and Daniel L Turner, both of Fenton, Michigan. She graduated from Fenton High School in 1984 where she was class president, captain of the ski team, and editor of the yearbook. Ann attended both the University of Michigan-Flint and Ferris State University. Ann lived in the Fenton area where she raised her two daughters, Channer and Lydia Podlesak, with former husband Robert Podlesak. She was a 25-year employee of Sharp Funeral Homes. Ann was a former member of the Junior League of Flint and the Rotary Club of Fenton. Through the years she also worked part-time at The Iron Grate. Her creativity was evident in the beautiful displays within her living space and her thoughtful gifts to others. Ann was a proud daughter, mother, sister, cousin, niece, and caring friend to many. Surviving are mother and step-father, Susan and Art Yeotis; father and step-mother, Daniel L Turner and Marlene Murphy; two daughters, Channer and Lydia Podlesak; brother, Matthew A Turner; fiancé, Patrick M Gysel; nieces, Jordan (Michael) Aurino and Taylor Ovadek; beloved Daschund, Stretch; and many relatives and friends. Ann will be missed by all and her spirit will be with us forever. Respecting her wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be a memorial gathering held on November 26th from 2-7PM at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton.
