MASSIMINO, Ann Elizabeth Wall (Eckerle) of Flushing, age 90, passed away on September 5, 2017. Ann was born in Flint, MI on January 17, 1927 to John and Irene (Clayton) Wall. She graduated from Central High School, earned a Bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan-Flint and a Master's degree from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor. She was a Teller at Citizens Bank and a teacher at Cook Elementary in the Flint Community School District. She was a member of St. Robert Bellarmine Church, the Sons of Italy-Lodge 861, the Ladies Ancient Order of Hibernians (LAOH), and The Friends of the Flushing Library and Flint Public Library. Ann enjoyed poetry, mystery novels, the Whiting and Bower Theater performances, sewing and humor. She is survived by her 3 daughters, Ann (Joseph) Bol, Paula (Kurt) Wangbichler, Eileen (Brian) Judd; grandchildren, Jennifer (Brent) Rosa, Pamela Brown, Daniel (Ella) Gauthier, Kailey Gauthier, great grandchildren, Brendan and Brian Rosa, Hunter and Laura Brown; step children, Debbie (Gary) Noffsinger, Gina (Fernando) Narcio; sister-in-law, Sarah Massimino; many nieces, nephews and extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John; son, John Eckerle; sisters, Mary Smith of Florida and Joanne Olds of Flint; step-son, Joseph Massimino.
