Ann Marie CORSI

CORSI, Ann Marie, age 89, of Grand Blanc, passed away Tuesday, April 19, 2011 at Hospice at Brian's House, Davison. Funeral Services will be 3:00 p.m. Friday, April 22, 2011 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Grand Blanc Twp. Deacon Ron Kenney officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Grand Blanc. Visitation will be 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Thursday and 2:00 p.m. Friday until time of service at the funeral home. Contributions may be made to Hospice of Brian's House. Ann was born in Alpha, Michigan on August 4, 1921 the daughter of Sebastian and Mary DeAmicis of Iron Mountain, MI. She married Andrew Corsi of Kingsford, MI on June 18, 1951 in Chicago. IL. He preceded her in death on June 26, 1993. Ann retired from General Motors Institute in Flint where she worked as a secretary from 1964-1981. Ann's true passion was working outside in her yard from morning until night. She truly had a green thumb. Only her family made her happier. She will be sadly missed. Ann is survived by her children, Deni Corsi Furtick and husband, Larry of Grand Blanc, Marc Corsi of Flint, Barbara Mariucci Kinsman and husband, Charles of Greenbush, MI; sister, Frances Cecala and husband, Anthony of Stonington, CT, seven grandchildren, Amber Furtick Duberg and husband, Ryan of Rockvale, TN, Brittany Furtick of Bluffton, SC, Chad Furtick of Grand Blanc, Tina Kinsman Simpson and husband, Daryl of Villa Rica, GA, Jeff Kinsman and wife, Laura of West Branch, MI, Francine Kinsman Kasmarek and husband, Paul of Findlay, OH and Marina Corsi of Flint; and six great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her parents Mary and Sebastian DeAmicis; sister, Oliva DeDonato; and grandparents, Olivia and Geuseppi Cavicchioni.
