Ann Christenson

CHRISTENSON, Ann Ellen - Age 84 of Grand Blanc passed away at Genesys Health Park on Monday, August 13, 2007. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 15 at Faith Lutheran Church, 12534 N. Holly Rd., Grand Blanc, with Pastor Gerald Harms presiding. Visitation Tuesday, August 14, from 4 pm - 8 pm at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Contributions may be made to "The Spirit of Alexandria Foundation". Mrs. Christenson was born July 23, 1923 the daughter of Albert and Mary (Wilson) Rates in Sault St. Marie and lived in Grand Blanc for 36 years. Ann Graduated from Central High School and was a member of Faith Lutheran Church. She married Bert Christenson in 1945. She is survived by husband, Bert; four children; Bud and Judy Christenson of Lake Fenton, Donna Christenson of Washington, D.C., JoAnn and Larry Carter of Grand Blanc and Ted and Clara Christenson of Lake Fenton; four grandchildren; Chris, Deidre, David and Jill; 2 great-grandchildren; Madison and Mia; brother Walter and Dorothy Rates of Bear Lake and several nieces and nephews.
