Anita Granger

GRANGER, Anita Lynn (Walker) - Age 49, of Flint Twp., died at her home surrounded by family, after a year and a half long battle with cancer, on Friday June 17, 2016. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, June 21, at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint. Pastor Don Chapin officiating. Visitation will be held 2-8 PM Sunday and 2-8 PM Monday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make contributions to the family. Anita was born July 27, 1966 in Flint, the daughter of Gerald and Linda (Brockway) Walker. Anita graduated from Swartz Creek High School, the class of 1985. She then attended the State Technical Institute and Technology Center of Kalamzaoo. Anita married Brian Granger on October 8, 1988 in Swartz Creek. She was a homemaker and a part time cashier. She attended the Solid Rock Community Church of Burton. Anita enjoyed cruising in antique cars, swimming, she loved her pool, playing Yahtzee, Vernors floats, and gossiping. Anita is survived by her husband, Brian; three sons, Eric (Stephanie) Granger, Nicholas Granger (Charr Langley), Adam Granger; mother, Linda Walker; father, Gerald Walker; two sisters, Angela Morey and Amy (Andrew) Wykes; three nephews and 1 niece.
