Andrew John MALINICH

MALINICH, Andrew John - age 68, of Corunna, went home to be with Jesus on Monday, January 17, 2011. A memorial service will be held April 1, 2011 at his residence. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Memorial Healthcare Hospice, 826 W. King Street, Owosso, MI 48867. Mr. Malinich was born April 1, 1942 in Flint, the son of Andrew and Magdelena (Uradnecek) Malinich. He was a 1960 graduate of Sacred Heart High School. He also graduated from the Flint Barber College and loved being a barber even after he went to work for GM. Mr. Malinich married Coralee Ann Ballentine on April 27, 1963. He retired from General Motors in 2001 after 36 years of service. Surviving are: wife of 47 years, Coralee; he was so proud of his three sons, Brian (S.O., Susan) Malinich, David (beloved daughter, Angela) Malinich, Ken (S.O., Amy) Malinich; four much loved grandchildren, Bradley, Cassie, Kenny, and Jonathan; two sisters, Mary Zuwala and Mildred (Vlado) Sindolar.
