It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden loss of Andrew J. Kondrak Jr. at the age of 65 on Thursday, February 2, 2023. Called "Andy Joe" by his late parents, Andrew Kondrak Sr. and Mary Kondrak, he was born on May 26, 1957, graduated from Redford High School, studied woodworking, and worked in the automotive industry where he was always quick to make friends with his coworkers. He is survived by his sister, Mary Jo Shepard, and will be forever adored by his nieces, Jessica (Bob) Miller, Ahna (Anthony) Rosenblum, Emily (Austin) Germain and their families, including his great nephews and nieces: Carter, Jayden, Ivy, Daphne, Theo and Henry.
Our Uncle Andy is fondly remembered as a self-taught handyman, WWE fanatic, classic car enthusiast and hard worker. We'll never forget his feats of strength that would have us swinging around the house by our belt loops as children, his love affair with any and all music, his fun-loving personality and how quick he was to help in any way he could. He delighted in performing small acts of kindness and thoughtfulness and we hope his memory inspires others to continue spreading such joy to friends and strangers alike.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider a donation in his name to the Hearing Loss Association of America at hearingloss.org. Cremation has taken place and A Celebration of Life luncheon will be held for friends and family on Sunday, March 12, 2023, from 12pm-2pm at the Fenton Community and Cultural Center at 150 S Leroy Street Fenton, MI 48430.
