Andrew Byron GREEN, JR

GREEN, JR., Andrew Byron - Age 83, of Burton, died Thursday, April 22, 2010 at Genesys Health Park. Funeral services will be held 12:00 PM Saturday, April 24, 2010 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Friday from 1-4 and 6-9 PM and Saturday from 10:00 AM until time of service. Those desiring may make contribution to the Alzheimer's Association. Mr. Green was born June 1, 1926 in Berkley, the son of Andrew Byron, Sr. and Louise Mary (Cornell) Green. He was a veteran of WWII serving in the U.S. Navy. He married Patricia Lou Austin June 21, 1946 in Flint and she preceded him in death February 14, 2005. Mr. Green owned and operated Green Construction and Three G's Lounge. He had also been employed by Detroit Mutual Insurance for many years. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Shriners, V.F.W. and the Moose Lodge. Surviving are: 4 children, Jeffry and wife Sherry Green of Richardson, TX, Richard and wife Patricia Green of Burton, Debra Green-Mitchelson of Harper Woods and Gregory Green of Fenton; grandchildren, Katherine (John) Eversole, Tiffany (Myron) Roper, Jeffry Green, Brynel (Andy) Dodge, Joiel (Richard) Grenay, Justin Mitchelson, Niklas (Star) Green, Andrew (Mylee) Green, Aaron (Ashley) Green, Jordan Mitchelson and Chase Mitchelson; great grandchildren, Bethany, Noah, Gabbrielle, Elijah, Matais, Chloe, Mason, Luaya and Endalk; 2 brothers, Robert (Joan) Green of Burton and James (Pat) Green of Scottsdale, AZ; several nieces and nephews.
