JAMNICK, Amos Paul -- Age 86, of Flushing, died Tuesday, August 29, 2006 at Fostrian Manor. Family services will be held at the time of burial. Those desiring may make contributions to the Alzheimers Association. Mr. Jamnick was born December 23, 1919 in Poplar Bluff, MO, the son of Joseph and Apolina (kastele) Jamnick. He had resided in Flushing most of his life. He was married to Mary Margaret Dufresne on August 13, 1948 in Illinois; she preceded him in death September 17, 1995. Mr. Jamnick ws employed by G.M. Truck retiring in 1978 with 30 years of service, and he was a farmer. He loved coon hunting and he raised dogs. Surviving are: three daughters, Linda and husband Bob Morehead of Miami, FL; Joretta and husband Dennis Roy of Flushing, Kathleen and husband Alan Edwards of Flushing; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; sister, Frances and husband Wilbur Burgdorf of Fairview, IL.
