Amma Bentley

BENTLEY, Amma Beth - Age 89, of Fenton, passed away May 27, 2015. A memorial gathering will be held 5-8 PM Saturday, May 30, 2015 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to TCT Network (Tri-State Christian Television). Amma was born January 20, 1926 in Mercedes, TX, the daughter of Lawrence and Lizzie (Williamson) Murphy. She had lived in the Fenton community since 1944. Amma owned and operated Bentley Sand and Gravel from 1964 until her retirement in 2008. She was a past member of Fenton Chamber of Commerce and Who's Who. She was a beloved mother and grandmother and had a strong faith in God. She is survived by her daughter, Kathlynn Conklin; son, Gerald (Joan) Ray; grandchildren, Rena, Robin (Jim), Brenda (Wayne), Laura (Greg), Gary Lee, Jody (Matt), David (Erin), James (Melissa), Billie Joe; 12 great-grandchildren and two great great-grandchildren.
