Amelia Ibarra

IBARRA, Amelia Elizondo - Age 80, of Flint, died May 28, 2015. Funeral mass will be celebrated 11 AM Friday, June 5 at St. Mary Catholic Church 2500 N. Franklin Ave., Flint, Rev. Santhiyagu Arockiyasamy, MSFS celebrant. Visitation will be held 4-8 PM Thursday, with a 6:30 PM Rosary at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint; and also at the church Friday morning from 10-11 AM. Amelia was born January 5, 1935 in San Antonio, TX, the son of Vincent Elizondo and Estefania (Morales) Elizondo. She worked at Flint Community Schools in the Bi-Lingual Department as a teachers aide. Surviving are: Sons, Loreto Jesse Ibarra, Johnny E. Ibarra, James E. Ibarra, Joe Vincent Ibarra; 11 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; brother Ralph (Mary) Elizondo; brothers-in-law, Seferino and George Ibarra; daughters-in-law, Bridgit Smith, Adele Ibarra, and Laura Skauson-Howard, as well as several nieces and nephews.
