Amelia Grace Duty

DUTY, Amelia Grace - Age 97, of Fenton, passed away September 26, 2024. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:30AM Saturday, October 5, 2024 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 600 N. Adelaide St., Fenton. Fr. David Harvey celebrant. Visitation will be held from 9:30AM until the time of Mass. Private entombment at New Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Amelia was born February 21, 1927, the daughter of Anthony and Julia (Cozza) Stancato. She married Ramon J. Duty on September 1, 1962; he preceded her in death on March 4, 2020. In her younger years, Amelia enjoyed owning a hair salon. She helped her husband on their farm for many years. She enjoyed gardening and was a great cook; her specialty was Italian food and pies. Amelia was a caregiver by nature and was the rock that held the family together. She is survived by her sons, Mark Duty, Eric and wife Sherri Duty; grandson, Vincent Duty; sister, Joyce Armbruster.
