BRACEY, Ambrose A. - age 61, of Fenton Twp., died Saturday, April 2, 2005 at his residence. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 5PM Tuesday April 5, 2005 at Fenton United Methodist Church, 119 S. Leroy Street, Fenton. Rev. David G. Mulder officiating. Visitation will be 4:30PM until the time of service at the church. Veterans honors will be performed following the service under the auspices of the Fenton VFW Curtis-Wolverton Post #3243. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society. Ambrose was born August 20, 1943 in Ypsilanti, MI, the son of Ambrose and Imojean (Palmerton) Hall. He married Donna M. Wiley on March 4, 1961. Ambrose attended Flushing High School and was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp. serving during the Cuban Missile Crisis and the beginning of Vietnam. He was employed in Skilled Trades with General Motors for 40 years and retired from the Grand Blanc Metal Fabrication Plant. While working, he attended and graduated from Kent State University with a Associate Degree in Nursing. Ambrose had a lust for life and was constantly involved in all that he could be. Surviving are: loving wife of 44 years, Donna; two sons, Patrick Edward Bracey and wife, Jennifer of Holly, David A. Bracey of Howell; mother, Imojean of Flint; brother, Phillip and wife Patricia of Linden; two sisters, Natha Jean and Sherry of Flushing; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and many friends.
