Amanda Shumaker

SHUMAKER, Amanda Lynn (Mageli) - Age 61, of Gaines, died Friday, August 4, 2017. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Friday, August 11 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Visitation will be held from 11AM until the time of service. Amanda was born June 4, 1956 in Flint, the daughter of Leland and Mary (Hinkley) Mageli. She married William "Buck" Shumaker on November 5, 1977. She loved to garden. Amanda was always the life of the party and was the glue that held the family together. She was a loving wife and mother and was loved by everyone she knew. Amanda is survived by her husband of 40 years, William "Buck"; son, Travis; siblings, Debra (Douglas) Shumaker of Fenton, Matt (Debbie) Mageli of Clio and Gary (Teresa) Hinkley of Linden; brother-in-law, Neil (Kathy) Shumaker of Swartz Creek; many loved nieces and nephews.
