STRECHA, Amalia "Molly" Lang - age 100, of Fenton, died Friday, May 23, 2014 at her residence. Molly was born on July 28, 1913 in a small German community called, Messer, Russia. She came to Flint with her family in 1923. Molly owned and operated her own businesses. She and her husband started and operated a fire extinguisher business they later sold and bought and operated the Rainbow Bar in Flint. Molly was an avid bowler, golfer and she loved polka dancing. Surviving are: sisters, Lydia Turner and Esther Mooney. She will be missed by many nieces and nephews and a step-son. She was preceded in death by her father, Heinrich Lang, mother, Amalia Lang, brothers, Henry Lang and Alex Lang and husbands, Alex Krause, Jay Horton and Joe Strecha. Funeral services will be held 3 PM Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W. Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Interment will follow at Sunset Hills Cemetery.
