Alvin Leuneberg

LEUNEBERG, Alvin Paul - age 77, of Grand Blanc, died June 1, 2020. A memorial service will be held at a later date at Great Lakes National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Alvin's name to a charity of ones choice. Alvin was born February 23, 1943 in Ann Arbor, the son of Walter and Dorothy (Ashfal) Leuneberg. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, an avid golfer and loved University of Michigan sports but his greatest love in life was being a grandpa. Alvin retired from General Motors with over 30 years of service. Surviving are: two sons, Alvin John "AJ" (Jennifer) Leuneberg, Jamie (Christy) Bell; daughter, Michelle (Mike) Cojanu; seven grandchildren, Alvin and Adam Leuneberg and Austin and Ashley Bell and Ben, Logan and Bailey Cojanu; siblings, Elaine Addis, Neil (Barb) Leuneberg, Bruce (Carol) Leuneberg; many nieces and nephews.
