Alvin J. Ferguson

FERGUSON, Alvin J., age 41, of Fenton, died Wednesday, December 6, 2006.  Alvin was born in Flint on November 9, 1965 the son of Herman  and Charlotte (Ross) Ferguson and has lived in the Fenton for many years. He was a graduate of Fenton High School, class of 1984.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp. Al had  been employed by Lear Corporation and the Ferguson Lawn Service.  Surviving is, Denise; his mother, Charlotte and husband Bob Glazar of Fenton; 3 brothers; Steven Ferguson, Herman Ferguson Jr. and wife Cheryl and David Ferguson, all of Fenton; 2 sisters;  Kathleen Brown and husband Ryan in Illinois, Margie Shirshun and husband Keith of Linden.  Also surviving is  a step-grandmother, Lorraine Cryderman in Arizona; nieces and nephews;  Thomas Kimble of Fenton, Crystal Hiler and husband Michael of Fenton, Angela Ferguson of Fenton, Daniel Ferguson of Clio, Mitchell Ferguson of Fenton and Courtney Avoy of Linden.  Al was preceded in death by his father, Herman Ferguson, Sr. and a brother, Daniel.  Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Monday, December 11, 2006 from Sharp Funeral Home, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd. Pastor Jack McMaster officiating with Burial to follow at Oakwood Cemetery, Fenton.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 9 P.M. Saturday and Sunday from 3 to 5 P.M. and 7 to 9 P.M. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alvin J. Ferguson Memorial Fund.
