EICK, Alvin Edwin - Age 85, of Grand Blanc, died Friday, March 15, 2019. Funeral services will be held 12 PM Monday, March 18 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Pastor John White officiating. Interment will follow in Crestwood Memorial Cemetery, Grand Blanc. Visitation will be held 10 AM - 12 PM Monday at the funeral home. He married Ruth Ann (Yates) in 1956. After residing in Grand Blanc for most of his life he retired from AC Spark Plug as a Machine Repairman and moved to Cedar Lake in Greenbush to the cottage he and his wife built. They enjoyed wood working together. Hunting and fishing were his passion. He is survived by daughters Jane (Jim) Kinzie of Linden, Jennifer (Bob) Mansfield of Clio; grandchildren Nick (Kristen) Stilson of Howell, Krista Kinzie of Flint, Janelle Stilson of Clio, Kari (Jason) Clouse of Fenton, Ryan Mansfield of Arizona; great grandchildren Clare, Austin, Ethan, Tess, Jase, Liberty & Clay; brother Arnold Eick of Venice, Florida, sister Gloria (Wayne) Rasband of Kensington, Maryland; and faithful and loving caregivers Penny Doyle and Cyndi Elowsky, both from Clio.
