ADOLPH, Alvin Gerald - age 79, of Flint, died Sunday, November 7, 2010 at his residence. Serices will be held 1 PM Wednesday, November 10, 2010 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Grand Blanc Twp. Interment will follow at Crestwood Memorial Cemetery, Grand Blanc. Visitation will be held from 5-9 PM Tuesday at the funeral home. Mr. Adolph was born September 4, 1931, the son of Adolphus and Berniece Adolph. He retired from General Motors and was a veteran of the United States Army, serving in Korea. Mr. Adolph was a family man. He leaves behind: children, Russ and wife, Rhonda Adolph of FL, Nancy and husband, Perry Drewelow of Mt. Morris, Robert and wife, Terri Adolph of FL, Stanley Adolph of Flint, Sally Abbott of FL, Karen Williams of GA, Howard Adolph of Mt. Morris; 12 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; four brothers; three sisters; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.
