Aloysius F. SNY

SNY, Aloysius F. - Age 78, of Flint, died Monday, November 28, 2011 at Genesys Health Park. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Friday, December 2, 2011 at Sharp Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Road, Flint. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Thursday from 5-9 PM and Friday from 10 AM until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make contributions to the Aloysius F. Sny Memorial Fund. Mr. Sny was born February 23, 1933 in Turner, the son of Aloys and Lora (Hemenway) Sny. He married Faye E. Pagel July 27, 1957 in Standish. He retired in 1987 from Chevy in the Hole after 30 years of service. Mr. Sny was a member of U.A.W. Local 659 and S.C.A.N. He had resided in Flint since 1956 coming from Turner. Surviving are: wife, Faye; 4 daughters, Jeanne Nunnemaker (Randy) of Florida, Julie Cordero of Texas, Jill Sny (J.R.) of Genesee and Janis Sny (Tommy) of Flint; 11 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren; brother, Gene Sny of Clio; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and 2 sisters, Christina Butts and Loretta Thompson and two great-grandchildren.
