Almarion Eugene BACON

BACON, Almarion E. - Age 87, of Fenton, died Tuesday, October 18, 2011. Graveside services will be held 1:00 PM Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly. Those desiring may make contributions to a charity of one's choice. Mr. Bacon was born May 1, 1924 in Fenton, the son of John Otis and Gertrude (Barnum) Bacon. He was a veteran of WWII serving in the U.S. Navy. He married Alma May Dunn February 11, 1945 in Fenton. Mr. Bacon retired from Mio AuSable High School as the Custodian. Surviving are: wife, Alma; 2 daughters, G. Marie and husband Daniel Elasivich of Linden and Jean and husband Arnold Rogers of Mayville; 4 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild; 2 sisters, Dorothy Root of Flint and Arlene Walker of Fenton; several nieces and nephews.
