Alma Rhodes

RHODES, Alma Lee - age 87, of Fenton, died Saturday, May 23, 2015 at her daughter's residence. Services will be held 2 PM Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W. Silver Lake Rd., Fenton with Pastor Terry Bowen officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Clio. Visitation will be held 12 PM - 2 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Rhodes was born March 19, 1928 in Dudley, MO, the daughter of Everett and Lizzie (Lemons) Hayes. She married Edward Rhodes on February 10, 1947 in Saginaw and he preceded her in death in June 1989. Surviving are: son, Edward (Julia) Rhodes, Jr. of Fenton; daughter, Linda Shelstad of Bancroft; eight grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; nieces and all her friends at Millpond Manor in Fenton.
