Allen E. ROBBINS

ROBBINS, Allen E. - Age 80, of Flint, died Saturday, January 15, 2011 at McLaren Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held 1 PM Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at Grace Lutheran Church, 2526 Corunna Rd., Flint. Pastor Daniel Tomczyk will officiate. Visitation will be held from 11 AM until the time of service. Those desiring may make contributions to Grace Lutheran Church. Allen was born May 7, 1930 in Alma, the son of Percy and Mildred (Wing) Robbins. He was married to Patricia Hadden in 1954. Mr. Robbins was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Korean War. He had been a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Flint since 1965. Allen worked for the City of Flint Traffic Engineers for 30 years. Surviving are: wife, Patricia; son, Mark and wife Lesa Robbins; daughter-in-law, Penny Robbins; grandsons, Steven and Christopher; great-grandaughter, Lilly Mae; brother, William and wife Hazel Robbins; sister, June and husband George Porritt; many loving nieces and nephews.
