STEINLEY, Allan Arthur- Age 76, of Flushing, died Sunday, September 26, 2021. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Saturday October 2 at The River Church of Flushing, 5105 N. McKinley Road, Flushing, with visitation at the church from 10-11 AM prior to the funeral. Visitation will be held 2PM-8PM Friday, October 1 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Road, Swartz Creek. Allan was born March 19, 1945 in Flint, the son of Carl and Ethel (Walton) Steinley. He married Beverly Woodthorp in Flint on October 28, 1967. Allan proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He retired from G. M. Buick Plant with 42 years of service. Allan enjoyed golfing, hunting, fishing and especially spending time with his family and grandchildren. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend who will be missed by all. He loved the Lord. Surviving are: his loving wife of 53 years, Beverly Steinley of Flushing; son, Matthew (Lorrie) Steinley of Flushing; daughter, Andrea (Tim) Pray of Flint; grandchildren, Loren (Tyler Bentley) Steinley of Clio, Morgan (Michael) Vasquez of Mt. Pleasant, Blaze Tomczyk of Grand Blanc, Fairen Tomczyk of Grand Blanc, Ryden Tomczyk of Grand Blanc; 2 great grandchildren, Maliyah and Malayna Vasquez. He is survived by his; brother, Larry Steinley of Turner MI; many nieces and nephews. Allan was preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Ethel Steinley; sisters, Ryllis Pizzala and Reva Losey.
