PARKER, Allan Lee "Duke" - (1929-2009) passed away Sunday, November 1, 2009 at his home in Venice, Florida. Services will be held 11 AM Friday, November 6, 2009 at Sharp Funeral Home & Cremation Center, 6063 Fenton Rd., Grand Blanc Twp. Visitation will be held 2-4 & 6-9 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to the Genesee County Bar Foundation. Parker was born in Adrian, Michigan. He graduated from Flint Central, Hillsdale College and Detroit College of Law. He practiced law in Flint for more than fifty years, was a former President of the Genesee County Bar Association, founding member of the Genesee County Bar Foundation, member of the Grand Blanc Board of Education, and former star of Grand Blanc Summer Theater. Duke was a life long singer, fisherman, and Detroit Lions fan. He is survived by his wife Carol, sons Patric (Suellen) of Fenton, Tom of Pinckney, Mark (Sue) of North Carolina, nieces and nephews including Tom Bleecker and his daughter Kaylee of Grand Rapids, Jim Bleeker (Terry) of California, stepdaughters Tamie Babb (Mike), Shelly Kostka (Matt), Rhonda Conley (Brian) and Andria McNamara (Pete), and grandchildren Katy Parker, Laura Parker, Tony Parker, Kristin Baker, Nick Warda, Jon Wethington, Chaitra Goff, Tony Dreier, Rachel Young, Jeremiah Dreier, Jacob Kostka, Rebecca Smith, Suzanna Kostka, Erin Conley, Garrett Conley, Stephanie Simon, Jennifer Simon, Joe Boike, Tom Boike, Charlie Boike and sisters Julian Lloyd and Jeanne Bereznoff (Nick).
