Allan W. CHAPMAN

CHAPMAN, Allan W. - age 79, of Fenton, died Sunday, January 30, 2011 at Crestmont Health Care Facility. Services will be held 11 AM Thursday, February 3, 2011 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 W. Silver Lake Rd., Fenton. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held 4-9 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Those desiring may make memorial contributions to Fenton Little League or Fenton Adopt-A-Pet. Mr. Chapman was born July 17, 1931 in Flint, the son of Curtis M. and Eunice B. (Gean) Chapman. He graduated from Hale High School and Baker College. Allan served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was employed by GM Flint Manufacturing for 25 years. Allan married Mary E. Bills on June 13, 1953 in Curtisvillle, MI. Allan was active in Fenton Little League for many years. He is survived by his wife, Mary: daughter, Theresa; son, Michael; three grandchildren, Leslie, Jordan and Kendyl; sister, Charlotte Riley; brother, Dale Chapman.
