DENYER, Alla Lorraine - Age 85, of Fenton, died Thursday, October 21, 2010. Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Friday, October 22, 2010 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Fenton Chapel, 1000 Silver Lake Road, Fenton. Burial in St. Augustine Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home Friday from 1:00 PM until time of service. Mrs. Denyer was born November 7, 1924 in Ennis, KY, the daughter of James W. and Hallie Mae (Bevil) Boatwright. She married Jack Denyer March 26, 1949. She retired from Ford Motor Company as an Executive Secretary. Surviving are: daughter, Judy Denyer of Fenton; son, Patrick and wife Mary Ann Denyer of Dearborn; 3 grandsons, Jacob and John Denyer of Dearborn and Eric Doty of Fenton; sister, Ima Jane Slabaugh; brother, James and wife Gerry Boatwright of Dearborn; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and stepmother, Stella Boatwright (who raised Mrs. Denyer from a young age).
