Alison Quiggin-Mcclure

McClure, Quiggin Alison, Age 42 of Grand Rapids, died January 8, 2022 at her home in Grand Rapids, Mi. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Friday, January 14 at Sharp Funeral Home Miller Rd. Chapel 8138 Miller Rd. Swartz Creek. Visitation will be held 4-8 PM Thursday and from 10 AM Friday until the time of the service. Alison was born in Flint to her parents, Patricia (Kekel) Moody and Alan Quiggin. She was raised in Flint and Durand. To Alison's two grandmothers, Eleanor Kekel and Elizabeth Quiggin, she was the light of their lives. Alison received her Master Degree in Psychology from Western Michigan University. She was a clinical psychologist and practiced as Alison McClure, MA, LLP, CAADC. She was an adjunct professor at Davenport College in Grand Rapids. Alison dedicated her life to her son, Brennan, age 9, who she loved "to the moon and back". Alison is survived by her parents, Pat Moody and Alan Quiggin, her brother Patrick (Caitlin) Quiggin, her Brennan, Uncle Pete (Shirley) Kekel and her favorite Aunt Linda (Jim) Vuillemot, many nieces, nephews and cousins, best friend Holly Cardin, and numerous close friends throughout the Grand Rapids area. Alison was preceded in death by both of her grandmothers, her Aunt Carol Riley, uncle Robert Quiggin and uncle James Quiggin.
