Alice Ellen (Irvine) Maletic

MALETIC, Alice Ellen (Irvine) - Age 85, of Fenton, passed away Saturday, August 26, 2023.  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, September 1, 2023 at First Presbyterian Church of Fenton, 503 S. Alice was born September 24, 1937 in Flint, the daughter of Bertie A. and Alice C. (Rushton) Irvine.  She was a 1955 graduate of Beecher High School and she received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in 1975 from the University of Michigan, Flint.  She married John Maletic August 22, 1959 in Flint and he preceded her in death March 26, 2022.  She had resided in Fenton since 1974 coming from Flint. Alice was a teacher.  She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Fenton.  She was an accomplished artist, poet, painter, artisan crafter and quilter.  

Surviving are: her children, Jonathan (Gwenn) Maletic of Kent, OH, Adam Maletic of Fenton and Allison (James) Ross of Los Angeles, CA; son-in-law, James Bailey of Bay City; grandchildren, Nathaniel Bailey, Abigail Banks, Milo Maletic and Kem Maletic; great grandchildren, Marquis, Emma, Lucas, Depree Jr. and Depree III; sister, Phyllis May of Warren; and nieces and nephews.
